Nut Roasting Machine Drawing: Pre-Order Checklist
A practical guide to checking dimensions, transport routes, connections and maintenance access on a nut roasting machine drawing before ordering.
Separate catalogue dimensions from the order drawing
E-catalogue dimensions are useful for an initial review. Confirm the made-to-order machine’s external dimensions, connection points and options in writing against the current technical drawing. Do not treat a drawing for an earlier model or catalogue as the final approval document.
Check how the machine will enter the plant
Review not only the installation footprint but also unloading from the delivery vehicle, doors and corridor clearances, turning space and movement during installation. Compare measurements with the plant manager and manufacturer on the same drawing.
Mark the connections to the production line
Show the product-feed and discharge directions, upstream and downstream equipment, operator workspace and points that intersect with the existing line. If a connection or direction is unclear, ask the technical team before approving manufacture.
Confirm power, fuel and ventilation notes
Use the heating option stated in the catalogue and drawing to verify the site’s electrical or fuel connections, ventilation and flue requirements with the responsible specialists. Do not make assumptions before confirming exact technical values against the current machine sheet and plant design.
Put cleaning, maintenance and acceptance in writing
Ask about access for daily cleaning and scheduled maintenance, removable parts and service approach. Ensure the approval drawing has a revision date and sign-off from both parties. If a product-sample trial is planned, include acceptance criteria separately in the quotation.
